# How to become an Instfy partner

The step by step to join the Instfy Partner Program: application, conversation, agreement, onboarding, certification and first opportunity.

Joining the program is simple, but it has stages. They exist so that you start prepared, with clear rules and the Instfy team by your side on your first sale. This page shows each stage, what to send and what to expect.

## Before you start

- Read the [Partner Program](#/partners) and choose the [model](#/partner-models) that fits you.
- Get to know how Instfy thinks in [How we think](#/how-we-think) and [How we work](#/how-we-work).
- Read the [commercial policies](#/commercial-policies). They apply to all partners.

## The partner journey

Application: send an email to relationship@instfy.com with the subject
Partnership: <model>
, for example
Partnership: Reseller
or
Partnership: International
. Include the information from the "What to send" section.

Qualification: the Instfy team reviews your profile, your area of activity and the type of client you serve, and confirms whether the chosen model is the best fit.

Conversation: we hold a meeting to get to know each other, align expectations, answer questions and agree on how we will work together.

Agreement: you receive the partnership agreement, with the model, form of compensation, percentages, payment terms, validity period for opportunity registrations and other rules. Read it carefully and sign.

Sales onboarding: you learn the methodology, the portfolio, the sales playbook, the tools and the opportunity registration process.

Certification by product or service: you get certified in the offerings you will sell, such as Discovery, ERP Instfy or Instfy AI. Certification shows that you know what the product does and, above all, what it does not do.

First supported opportunity: register your first opportunity and run the sale with close support from the Instfy team, from the first conversation to the proposal.

## What to send in your application

| Information | Example |
|---|---|
| Name and contact | Full name, email, phone and city |
| Company (if any) | Legal name, website and area of activity |
| Desired model | Referrer, Sales rep, Consultant, Reseller, Accountant, Business owner, Strategic, Technology or International |
| Experience | What you do today and for how long |
| Client base and market | Type and size of client you serve, industries and regions |
| Interest | Which Instfy offerings you want to sell and why |
| Public profile | LinkedIn or website, if you like |

:::warn
Do not send client data, confidential documents or contact lists in your application. Opportunities are only registered after the agreement is signed, through the process defined in the [commercial policies](#/commercial-policies).
:::

## Timelines

Timelines depend on the volume of applications, the model and your availability for the conversation, onboarding and certification stages. In general:

- **Application response:** the team replies by email indicating the next step.
- **Agreement:** sent after the conversation, once there is alignment.
- **Onboarding and certification:** the schedule is agreed with you and can be done gradually, product by product.

More complex models, such as Strategic, Technology and Reseller, usually require more conversations before the agreement.

## Frequently asked questions

### How much does it cost to join the partner program?

The application is made by email and has no cost. Any specific conditions for each model, such as certification requirements, are presented in the conversation and defined in the partnership agreement.

### Can I refer a client before signing the agreement?

Ideally, sign the agreement first, because that is what guarantees the opportunity is registered in your name. If you already have an opportunity in mind, mention it in your application so the team can prioritize the conversation.

### How does certification work?

Certification is done by product or service, after sales onboarding. It covers what the offering solves, who it is for, how to qualify the client and what the product's current limits are.

### Can my application be declined?

Yes. Instfy evaluates alignment of principles, client profile and the ability to work in the chosen model. When the model is not the best fit, we may suggest another one.

### Can I become a partner if I live outside Brazil?

Yes. The International model was designed for those who work in the United States or between Brazil and the US. Write with the subject `Partnership: International`.
