Work at Instfy
Build businesses, products and technology with a team that works between Brazil and the United States. See how we work and how to apply.
Instfy exists to help people and companies turn what they want to build into reality. That sentence, which guides our work with every client, also describes what we expect from the people who work here: the drive to build, the curiosity to understand before acting and ownership of the result. This page is for anyone who wants to be part of that work, whether as a team member or as a specialist in our network.

Why Instfy exists
Instfy grew out of the path of Leandro Correia, founder and CEO, who has been an entrepreneur since 2007 and went through more than 20 businesses in Brazil before bringing that experience to the United States. Some companies made a profit, others lost money, some were sold and others failed. Every stumble left a lesson, and every lesson became method.
That path gave rise to the purpose that guides the company: to help as many people as possible reach their goals through innovative businesses. Working at Instfy means putting that purpose into practice every day, with real clients, real problems and results that can be measured. Read the full story in Who we are.
What we build here
People at Instfy work on two fronts that feed each other: client projects and our own product ecosystem.
Our own products
Client projects
In our projects we work with entrepreneurs, small and mid-sized businesses, manufacturers, retail, services, franchises, institutions and international companies. The challenges span strategy, product, technology, artificial intelligence, data, brand, growth, sales, operations, finance and people. See every area in the service charter.
What makes this work different is that no project starts with a tool. It starts with the question "what does this client want to build?". For people who like to understand the whole business, not just one part of it, that changes everything.
Who thrives here
There is no single profile. There are behaviors that make a difference day to day:
- People who ask "why?" before answering. A sales problem may actually be in the product. A technology need may be solved by changing a process.
- People who like to choose. Strategy is deciding what not to do, and that applies to our own agenda as well.
- People who deliver. Good ideas need to survive execution. We value people who carry the solution all the way to real use.
- People who measure and learn. We judge work by its business impact, not by the number of deliverables.
- People who move across areas and cultures. A single project can involve brand, data and AI, and clients in Brazil and the United States.
- People who protect trust. We handle clients' strategic information and take that seriously.
The principles behind these behaviors are in Culture and principles.
How the work is organized
Instfy is organized around projects, not isolated departments. A permanent core is responsible for the client relationship, strategy, methodology, management, quality and the integration of skills. Around it, a network of skills made up of professionals, specialists, partner companies and technologies is brought in as each project requires.
In practice, this means:
- Every project has a project lead responsible for integrating all the areas involved.
- Teams are put together based on what the project needs, so you work with different combinations of people and skills over time.
- Work moves forward in short cycles, with formal decision points and recorded decisions.
- Every initiative answers six questions: what, why, who is responsible, when, how much it costs and how we will know it worked.
See the details in How we work.
The methodology as a common language
Everyone at Instfy speaks the same language: the Instfy methodology, with eight stages organized into four principles.
| Principle | Motto | Stages |
|---|---|---|
| Context | Understand before concluding | Understand and Diagnose |
| Choice | Choose before executing | Direct and Design |
| Execution | Implement before claiming value | Build and Activate |
| Evidence | Measure before evolving | Measure and Evolve |
Whether you work in engineering, design, sales or finance, the methodology is what allows people from different areas to work together without losing sight of the result. It is also one of the most valuable things you take away from your experience at Instfy.

International exposure
Instfy works as a two-way bridge between Brazil and the United States: it helps Brazilian companies enter and grow in the US market and brings the best references to every client, wherever they come from. For the people who work here, that means contact with clients, markets and ways of working from more than one country, and the daily practice of looking at the global, national, regional and local context before deciding.
Areas and profiles we look for
We look for people for the permanent core and for the network of skills. The areas below reflect the kind of work we do. Open positions at any given time, with requirements and seniority, are defined for each role.
Didn't find your area? Write to us anyway. Tell us what you want to build and where you believe you can contribute.
Work arrangements
The work arrangement is defined for each position, based on the nature of the role, the project and the country. Depending on the position, it may involve working on site at one of the offices, formats that combine on-site and remote work, or project-based work in the expert network. The type of engagement, workload and compensation are also defined for each position and presented during the hiring process.
How to apply
- Choose your area: look at the profiles above and identify where you can contribute most.
- Prepare your materials: an up-to-date resume and, when it makes sense, a portfolio, repositories, case studies or links to previous work.
- Write a short note: in a few lines, tell us what you want to build and why Instfy is the place to do it.
- Send the email: send everything to relationship@instfy.com with the subject Careers: <area>, for example "Careers: Software engineering".
- Follow up: when there is a fit with a position or project, we will contact you about the next steps.
The note about what you want to build carries as much weight as your resume. Be specific: a problem you would like to solve is worth more than a list of adjectives.
If you are a freelancer, independent specialist, studio or company and want to be brought into projects, see the Expert network. If you are interested in a commercial partnership, see the Partner program.
