Frequently asked questions

Why do the terms also show the interface name?

The ERP Instfy interface is in English by default. Showing the name used on screen helps you find the feature in the menu, whatever language you choose.

What is the difference between a lead and a deal?

A lead is an interested contact that has not yet been qualified. A deal is a real sales opportunity, with an estimated value, that moves through the pipeline stages. See CRM.

What is the difference between revenue and a sales invoice?

A sales invoice records a sale to a customer and the amount receivable. Revenue is used for one-off money coming in that does not come from an invoice. See Finance and accounting.

Do I need to understand accounting to use the ERP?

Not for daily work. Accounting reports, such as the income statement (P&L) and balance sheet, are generated from your entries. Even so, we recommend reviewing the chart of accounts with your accountant.
